The hero woke up on a tiny piece of land in the middle of nowhere on a small planet. We need to rebuild this and other worlds. Nine planets, convenient collection of millions of resources, fishing and dozens of dungeons.
The game offers an interesting concept – we need to collect various resources, and then use them to recreate several planets, with all their secrets and inhabitants.
We start on a very microscopic Moon, where there are only basic materials for making a rocket on which we will get out of here.
Arriving in the new world, we find ourselves on a small basic plot of land from which we will begin expansion. There are only a few trees and the opportunity to expand this space for resources.
By the way, the rocket can also be disassembled.
The subtlety of the game is that the planets have already been created, and we open them piece by piece, investing the collected materials. Places where we can expand the planet are shown with white rectangles indicating exactly what resources will be needed for construction.
What I really liked is that it’s all well thought out in terms of balance. In the sense that you won’t need to spend hours assembling something stupidly. It is profitable to run forward and look for more advanced tools and rich deposits of resources there. But, of course, you can also repair it by cutting in circles and digging something.
There is a setting that allows you to make the hero automatically collect all nearby resources and fight. Very convenient. You can do all this manually.
For collecting resources and any actions, the hero’s level is pumped up. The maximum he can be is tenth. For each new level we get passive boosts.
If the hero dies, he will be deprived of one level and, accordingly, one perk.
New locations are not empty. There may be useful processing stations, merchants and other NPCs, hostile monsters, bosses, and even dungeon entrances.
The planets may seem small at first. It’s true and not true at the same time. They have a complex architecture, usually containing several biomes. In addition, there are dungeons, internal spaces with their own adventures, of which there are more than 60. So, there is somewhere to wander around here.
Dungeons are indicated by portals or cave entrances.
Opponents are scattered across locations. https://luckypencecasino.co.uk/games/ Enemies will respawn from time to time. For defeating them we get a key resource – gold coins. There are also bosses, the reward for them is rich, but they can only be killed once.
In dungeons, the concentration of enemies per square meter increases. Sometimes there is a boss at the end of a dungeon. In any case, the dungeon contains key resources in the form of shining stars, which are needed to complete the game and explore the planets.
In order to conquer unknown worlds, the hero only needs an ax, a pickaxe and a sword. We extract certain resources with all of them, and we also fight with a sword.
These tools can be upgraded at special stations. There are a decent number of equipment improvement stages and upgrades provide significant bonuses. In addition, there are workbenches for crafting and pumping up armor.
There are decorative costumes, but they do not give any bonuses. They are usually awarded for some kind of persistent research, for example, catching a ton of fish or finding several key resources, for which you have to explore the entire planet.
There are merchants and stations for crafting new resources. For example, you can distill the collected wood into boards, which will also be needed.
A little important thing. Processing materials into other materials will take time and you have to be on the planet where it happens, to get the results of this. Conducted an experiment. Launched a sawmill on one planet and went to another. It seemed (I charged hundreds of units, but I already had thousands) that the resources stopped coming, and the sawing did not stop, and when I returned, almost everything there had already been processed. It turns out that into the void.
We sell resources to traders for gold at a not very favorable rate. Sometimes it helps.
On each planet in random places (updated when you restart the game) you can fish after you find the first NPC fisherman.
Fishing is a mini-game with simple QTEs. The more difficult the fish caught, the more difficult it will be, the pace of the mini-game accelerates.
For catching, we will be rewarded with a special resource. It can be spent at the fisherman to get temporary buffs or a suit, which will take a long time to crawl.
The only bug found is related to fishing. When we pull out a fish, a window with a reward appears. If you press the F button here, then for some reason the window does not close, but the purchase of buffs from the fisherman occurs.
Mostly small fish are caught with a small reward. But sometimes you come across some super fish. I caught this one only once out of several hundred approaches. And there seems to be some other mega-super fish. Each planet has its own species of fish. And the further you progress on the planets, the slightly better rewards they give for the same classes (small, medium, etc.).d.) fish.
In order to go to a new planet you need to build a portal. It will take a lot of resources, but if you study everything thoughtfully, then there should be no problems with them.
You can play solo or in co-op for up to four people. Unfortunately, only on one screen.
I personally really liked the game. It’s very pleasant to be here, I liked almost all aspects. It’s easy to collect resources, the surface of the planets opens up, we find dungeons, we fight bosses, you can catch fish. There is a rich system of resources and crafting useful tools from them. Everything is calm, slowly and without fuss.
The advantage of the game is the presence of a co-op on one screen, but the disadvantage is the absence of the same co-op over the network.
. Simple but nice graphics.
. Excellent music and sound accompaniment.
. A large cozy world of several well-designed planets.
. Many types of resources to collect. There is automatic digging of everything and combat – the hero strikes himself, and we run manually. But you can do everything manually.
. Crafting improved tools and armor.
. Many types of enemies and bosses. 60+ dungeons.
. Convenient control. There is a game with a keyboard mouse, or you can play it on a joystick.
. Russian text language.
THINGS THAT CAN BE BOTH A PLUS AND A MINUS:
± The game is simple, there is no bright challenge. Beating bosses is not difficult. Personally, this was more of a plus for me. But some people may not like it.
❌ When fishing, instead of closing the window, fisherman’s buffs are bought. Wasted several hundred units of a valuable resource this way.
